Who can join AUSSS?
Any student at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. Whatever your year, there’s a committee or support division where you can contribute.
When does recruitment open?
Registration opens once a year, at the start of the academic year. Outside that window you can’t apply, so add your email to the waitlist above and we’ll tell you the moment the next one opens.
Is there a membership fee?
New members pay the membership fee set for each recruitment round, per the society’s bylaws. The exact amount is announced with each registration window.
Do I have to pick a committee right away?

What is the exchange programme?
Through IFMSA’s SCOPE (clinical) and SCORE (research) programmes you can do a clerkship abroad and host incoming students at Ain Shams. See the Exchange page for details.
How much time does membership take?
It’s flexible. Members get involved in campaigns, trainings and projects at the level that fits their schedule. There’s room to do a little or to lead.
