Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights
Peer education for sexual & reproductive health and rights.
SCORA, the Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS, equips members to advocate for SRHR in a culturally respectful way. Its focus areas span comprehensive sexuality education, maternal health, gender, gender-based violence, and HIV & STIs.
AUSSS SCORA members, “SCORAngels”, run peer education and culturally sensitive awareness content and campaigns.
To provide our members with the tools necessary to advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights within their respective communities in a culturally respected fashion.

SCORAngels · the Angel
Everyone who volunteers in SCORA is a SCORAngel, one of the most beloved nicknames in IFMSA. The angel captures how SCORA works: caring, non-judgemental advocates who guard and champion sexual and reproductive health and rights, support people living with HIV, and meet their communities with compassion rather than stigma. SCORA’s colour is red.
