Research clerkships across the world.
SCORE, the Standing Committee on Research Exchange, gives future physicians the chance to experience scientific research abroad. Founded in 1991, it connects 65+ national organisations and over 3,000 research projects, placing more than 2,400 students a year in international research clerkships.
AUSSS coordinates incoming and outgoing research exchanges through the Local Officer on Research Exchange (LORE), pairing students with a mentor and a structured project from literature review to final report.
Our mission is to offer future physicians an opportunity to experience research and diversity in countries all over the world.

Members of SCORE are the SCOREagles of IFMSA’s “Dark Blue Family”. The eagle suits a committee that, in its own words, treads new grounds and challenges the ordinary: sharp-eyed and far-ranging, carrying students into research clerkships and global-health discovery all around the world.
